Terence Guillermo, 2013 BroadwayWorld Awardee for Best Featured Actor in a Musical has been in the performing arts for 23 years. He had been in over 160 local and international productions. Terence pursued Theater Arts at the University of the Philippines. He holds a Distinction (the highest mark) for Singing from the ABRSM - Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music, the leading music examination board based in U.K. He has been part of the world renowned Philippine Madrigal Singers. He was soloist at the 1st Daegu Choir Festival in South Korea and won a Gold medal for the Philippines on the 1st Asian Choir Games in Indonesia. The NCCA – National Commission for Culture and Arts sends him to teach music and theatre nationwide. He created the module Sound Scoring Through Human Voice at the Van Gogh Alive! Exhibit in ArtScience Museum, Singapore. He was the Key Voice Teacher of Yamaha School of Music – Philippines and Music Director of Kids Performing, Singapore’s premier performing arts school. For 2 years now, he has trained the finalists of the OPMS@PAGCOR, the new generation of singers belonging to the OPM - Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mang-aawit and has coached the recent winners of the World Championships of the Performing Arts. Terence is a composer and recording artist. His albums have been released in 62 countries. He has appeared in ABS-CBN TV Series Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw and Juan dela Cruz. His notable theater appearances include Aslan in Narnia, the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe; Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera; Captain Hook in Peter Pan; Simon Zealotes in Jesus Christ, Superstar; Padre Damaso in Elias at Salome; Bellamy in The Fantasticks; Choco in Pedro Calungsod, the Musical; Friar Nicholas in Marco Polo; Mulan’s Father in Hua Mulan; Pulubi in San Andres B Opera to name a few, and Lazaro in Lorenzo where he was cited by The Philippine Daily Inquirer in their Bravo Best of Philippine Theater 2013.
